Subscription & Billing overview

To manage your AppointmentThing subscription and billing, start by navigating to your Account Page. To get there, follow the steps below.

If you're already on your Account Page, ignore these steps and start at the blue bullet point below

  1. Log in to your account on AppointmentThing.com 
  2. Click the solid blue circle containing a white letter in the top right corner of the home page. This will cause a drop-down menu to appear with the options "Account", "Users", "Help" and "Log out"
  3. Click the 'Account' option on the drop-down menu to navigate to your AppointmentThing Account Page


To view and edit your AppointmentThing subscription, scroll down to the "Membership & Billing" section at the bottom of your account page. If you have AppointmentThing Basic, your Membership and billing section will look like the first image below.


If you have a paid AppointmentThing subscription, your Membership & Billing section will contain more information and options as shown in the image below.



The first part of the Membership & Billing section tells you which AppointmentThing plan you have.  If you're on a paid plan, it will also tell you how many users are included in your plan and when your plan will automatically renew.

The rest of the Membership & Billing section allows you to manage your users and paid subscription. The bullet points below explain more specifically what you're able to do in this section and provide links to step-by-step articles that will walk you through how to accomplish specific tasks.


  • To edit my credit card details
    You can change the credit card associated with your AppointmentThing account at any time. Follow the guide below for step-by-step instructions on how to do so.

  • To add users
    You're able to add multiple paid users to your AppointmentThing plan. Follow the guide below for step-by-step instructions on how to manage your users.

  • To upgrade my plan

We've hit a plan limitation here. You are on the free Basic plan and that plan has limitations.

You can upgrade your plan to unlock more features.

Send your invitees a last-minute Text/SMS reminder about their appointment with you. It will increase attendence. Upgrade to Pro to unlock this feature.

The Text/SMS reminders input field automatically appear on the appointment booking page when you're on the Pro plan.

We made AppointmentThing available to everyone on June 1st. Thanks so much for trying it out!

Prior to the launch, we were busy testing.. testing.. testing, correcting, then more testing.. testing.. testing and correcting.

Upcoming changes
Over the next couple of months, we’ll be gathering user feedback and (of course) be using the tools ourselves. Our testing and correcting will continue, and during this time we hope to learn a lot about the following:

  • What would be nice to have
  • What we need to improve right away
  • What needs a bit more explanation
  • Any issues or anything not working correctly

As a result, you’ll probably see us moving things around a bit: changing labels here and there, adding new functionality and options, updating tutorials, etc. It’s all part of the process.
