Editing appointment details

To edit details for one of your appointment types, start by navigating to your Appointment Types Page. To get there, follow the steps below.

If you're already on the Details Page, ignore these steps and start at the second green bullet point below.

  1. Log into your account on AppointmentThing.com
  2. Click 'My appointments' at the top of the home page
  3. Click the 'Appointment Types' link in the menu on the left side of the page


Editing Appointment Details

  • From the Appointment Types Page, click the blue 'Edit' link on the tile of the desired appointment type.
  • This will take you to the Details Page for that appointment type. Enter your appointment type details (or change existing details) by adding or editing text in the gray boxes.


  • Your photo and information in boxes 1 through 3 will be visible on your Appointment Scheduling Page (see image below) 


    Information in box 4 (appointment location) and box 5 (additional appointment instructions and details) will only be visible to your attendees on the appointment confirmation page after they have signed up for an appointment
  • When your appointment details are how you want them, click the blue 'Save' button, then click the 'Availability' link in the menu on the left side of the page. This will take you to the next step of the Appointment Editing Flow - the Availability Page - where you'll set your availability for this appointment type.

We made AppointmentThing available to everyone on June 1st. Thanks so much for trying it out!

Prior to the launch, we were busy testing.. testing.. testing, correcting, then more testing.. testing.. testing and correcting.

Upcoming changes
Over the next couple of months, we’ll be gathering user feedback and (of course) be using the tools ourselves. Our testing and correcting will continue, and during this time we hope to learn a lot about the following:

  • What would be nice to have
  • What we need to improve right away
  • What needs a bit more explanation
  • Any issues or anything not working correctly

As a result, you’ll probably see us moving things around a bit: changing labels here and there, adding new functionality and options, updating tutorials, etc. It’s all part of the process.
